Hi, I’m Stacy. Ready to wrangle.

I’m a Super Fan.

First things first. I love the creative process. I love being in the thick of it. In the trenches, I can see how people don’t always feel appreciated. So I make it my mission to bring good vibes and cheerlead for great creative and the people who come up with it, sell it, produce it and buy it. Ask anyone I’ve worked with who their biggest fan is, and they’ll say Stacy. And that’ll be the truth.

I’m a Casting Director.

Doing this job, you have to know the talent you’re working with. What do they excel at? Where are their blind spots? Knowing your team and where to put them to make themselves and the agency succeed is much different than just plugging holes. Every day I’m casting for the screenplay that is our status report.

I’m a Mother.

Agency folk are sensitive souls. It takes a caring touch to get people to perform their best or find a peaceful resolution. Sometimes it just takes a good pep talk and some freshly baked cookies to get minds right and spirits lifted. Being a mother at home just sharpens my skills when at the office.

I’m a Juggler.

You gotta be nimble as a creative manager. Always ready to move one thing from the back burner to four-alarm-fire mode. Being able to stay one step ahead of an ever-changing schedule and demands from clients, accounts and creative takes determination and a healthy dose of courage.

I’m a Bartender.

Sometimes you just have to listen. And in those times, I find it’s handy to have booze on hand. If people don’t have a safe space to vent their frustrations, animosity can fester. So why not just disinfect every now and then with a listening ear and a good Grüner Veltliner?

I’m a Creative Whisperer.

Not everyone’s got the touch. It’s not really something you can learn. You’re either born with it, or you’re not. I was blessed with the magic mojo that can calm even the angriest, wildest creative down. Maybe it has something to do with my bartending skills I mentioned earlier, but I’d like to believe it’s something more otherworldly than that.
